YTS YIFY torrents is down
In October 2015 the original YTS website started serving a blank page and no more YTS releases have been seen. In November it became clear that the popular torrent release group YIFY and its official YTS website (YTS.to) have shut down permanently.
YTS, formally known as YIFY-Torrents, is one of the most visible movie release groups in the P2P scene. All movie torrents released by YTS can be downloaded from the official site yts.to but also appear on torrent sites such as 1337x, The Pirate Bay, PublicHD, Kickass Torrents, and ExtraTorrent. All releases published by YTS are tagged with the infamous ‘YTS’. According to the site, YIFI provides the most popular movie torrents in the smallest file size.
The torrent streaming client Popcorn Time (called the ‘pirate Netflix’) get their movie releases from the YTS API.
