ExtraTorrent.cd

ExtraTorrent.cd claims to be a replacement for the defunct ExtraTorrent. The site indexes torrents from ExtraTorrent’s former release group ETTV. Although the team behind the page claims that user functions are activated, they can not be used. It also looks like Extratorrent.cd just displays torrents from The Pirate Bay.

Several news sites including Forbes reported about ExtraTorrent’s “relaunch” and referred to the copycat Extratorrent.cd.

According to Torrentfreak the site is an imposter operated by the same people who also launched Kickass.cd when Kickass Torrents went offline 2016. Beside Extratorrent.cd there are other fake versions of ExtraTorrent. Extratorrent.ag and Extratorrent.cx are other examples that hope to reach former ExtraTorrent fans.
